Butte improved to 8-1 in the Golden Valley Conference by defeating the Redwood Corsairs 25-9, 25-13, 25-16. Butte, the Golden Valley Conference champion, was led by Outside Hitters Elyse Anderson and Sarah Nichols with 6 kills a piece. Setters Tessa Bekendam and Caryn Romanini each had 15 assists with Bekendam leading the team with 6 aces. Laura Knox had five kills and Libero Kelli Stanley had fifteen digs and Auburn Kennedy had fourteen.digs. Butte ends its regular season play Friday night against second place Siskiyous. This is sophomore night at Butte and Kelli Stanley, Sarah Nichols, Chantal Vanderbilt, Auburn Kennedy, Megan Peterson, Hannah Wallace, and Kayla Wilson will be honored.
